Overall, 2011 was a pretty good movie year. A lot of good movies, not too many great ones. That's what made this year's list so hard to compile. It was hard to narrow it to the 10 best. So that sums up my movie year. I will leave you with a short and descriptions of my most anticipated movies of 2012. They are in no specific order. I am most excited for the new Batman and The Avengers. Let's hope for another good year, if not better.
2012 Most Anticipated:
The Dark Knight Rises - The final installment in Christopher Nolan's Batman series.
The Avengers - The first of its kind, super movie. In Whedon we trust.
The Grey - Liam Neeson punching wolves....best description available.
Chronicle - Relatively unknown....Kids have super powers and are learning how to use them.
Hunger Games - I've heard the books are great. Hopefully I will read them before the movie.
Brave - A new Pixar Movie. Nuff said.
Prometheus - The prequel to Alien, that looks very interesting.
The Cabin In The Woods - Joss Whedon's secretly written horror.
The Amazing Spiderman - Another Reboot. Sigh..but, I like this version of Spidey the best.
Skyfall - I like Daniel Craig as Bond. Why not another?
Django Unchained - Quentin Tarantino's western. Amazing cast. Looking forward to this one.
The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey - Jackson will amaze us again.
